Jennifer and Matthew were married at the DeBordieu Club in Georgetown, S.C. on October 25. Jennifer looked flawless in an A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and a bejeweled sash. She donned her hair in an updo and carried a bouquet of white and blue-tipped hydrangeas wrapped in navy blue satin. Her ‘maids opted for navy blue floor-length chiffon gowns. The groom looked dapper in a tan suit with a blue neck tie. His men looked handsome in more casual attire, tan vested suits. “We were married on a perfect South Carolina fall day,” Jennifer said of the weather. “There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and it was a perfect 70 with a cool ocean breeze.” The pair exchanged vows in on the courtyard of the DeBordieu Club in front of 100 friends and family members. Guests sat in white folding chairs constructed in a semi-circle arrangement. A cocktail hour followed on the club’s porch, right around sunset. A reception followed inside with white linen covered-tables that featured ivory hydrangea arrangements in porcelain vases wrapped in burlap and blue twine. “We didn’t go overboard and our family had fun,” Jennifer said. After dining and dancing the night away, guests indulged in a five-tier white cake adorned with blue and green hydrangeas. “Don’t try to compete, show off or feel you have to go all out,” Jennifer said.
